Walks and Talks 2016

Members may attend any of the events in this programme and friends and non-members are very welcome

All events are organised by Butterfly Conservation ~ Hertfordshire & Middlesex Branch unless otherwise stated

If you wish to know more about an individual event please get in touch with the named contact for the walk

We hope we have designed the 2016 programme to suit everyone, whatever your level of experience and knowledge. Those new to butterflies and/or moths are very welcome and help will be given to identify the more common species. There is also the opportunity to see some of the area's rarer species in the spring and summer. There are several new walks this year, including some that our neighbouring branches have invited us to attend. For connecting links to all Butterfly Conservation Branches and their butterfly walks programmes visit the national website: http://butterfly-conservation.org/244/events.html

For all walks not specifically organised by Hertfordshire & Middlesex Branch, we advise that you contact the named leader before the event to check the details are still correct and that the walk has not been cancelled. Other groups and branches have different policies for bad weather etc.

The programme will be updated throughout the season

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Children are welcome at our events, but if under 16 they must be accompanied by at least one adult for two children. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult(s) to ensure that the event is within the children's ability.
